1 octopus 1 kg (approx.)
3 artichokes, 1 cup of dry white wine, a clove of garlic
2 small onions
1 lemon ,a tablespoon of caper, a marjoram ,oil, salt, pepper
Preparation: Clean the octopus: Turn over the head of the octopus and discard the entire content. Remove the mouth and cut the eyes out with a pair of scissors. To end, wash the octopus. Pour garlic into a casserole , 3 cups of water and wine .When the water starts boiling, put the octopus and let it boil for 40 minutes at a low heat.
For the artichokes: Clean them, remove all the hard leaves, cut them into slices and put them in water with lemon. Heat up 3 tablespoons of oil in an non- stickable frying pan and then place the sliced onions and drained artichokes in it. Add salt and pepper and cover the pan and let the materials bake for 15 minutes at a low heat. Wringer the octopus, cut it into pieces and put it on a platter, powder it with the chopped marjoram and the caper.
Serve the octopus with artichokes, dressed with 2 tablespoons of oil, salt and pepper.
