CLIMATIC CONDITIONS

Coming to Tinos, the island of Aiolos (Greek god of the wind), we have to be careful with the temperatures. From March to October, when the sun is shinning, the temperature could be even 40 degrees centigrade. However, there is always wind called meltemi. During our evening walks, we have to wear a light jacket. Generally, the climate of the island is mild.
