Fried Artichokes dressed with bread crumbs (pane)

Ingredients for 20 pieces 10 artichokes
Juice of 2 lemons
1 cup grated toast bread
2 mixed eggs
1 cup of flour
1 cup of olive oil for frying
Salt - pepper

  1. Clean one by one the artichokes and dress them with juice of the lemons preventing them from browning.

  2. Τις βράζουμε για 5 λεπτά, τις στραγγίζουμε καλά και αλατοπιπερώνουμε. Then boil them for 5 minutes, strain them well and then salt and pepper them.

  3. Cut the artichokes in half and then powder them with flour.

  4. After that dip them in the egg and then cover them with the grated toast bread.

  5. Fry them in hot oil

  6. Serve them hot or cold
