Artichokes with beef and bacon
ΜΟΣΧΑΡΑΚΙ ΜΕ ΑΓΚΙΝΑΡΕΣ ΚΑΙ ΜΠΕΪΚΟΝ

Ingredients
10 artichokes
1 - 2 lemons cut in pieces
1 kg of beef meat
1 cup of olive oil
1 medium-sized onion (chopped)
2 tablespoons of dill (chopped)
1 small glass of white wine without retsina
200 gr. of NIKAS bacon thinly chopped bacon
1 teaspoon of corn-flower
salt - pepper


Preparation:

Clean the artichokes and cut them in the four. Dress or rub the juice made from the lemons. Cut the beef into cubes.

Heat up the olive oil in a casserole and sizzle the onion at a medium temperature. Add the beef and sizzle it too. Wash it off with the wine.

Immediately we put the artichokes and 1 tea cup of water in the casserole. Add dill, salt and pepper and slowly boil them with beef (Approximately for one hour, until the meat becomes soft and tender).

Twenty minutes before withdrawing the food from the oven add the thinly chopped bacon.

Once the food is ready we warm up the corn-flower with some water in a coffee pot and pour it in the casserole to bind with the sauce. Leave the food for a couple of seconds to cook and serve immediately.
